Five changes made in State U-19 cricket team

Odisha Cricket Association made five changes in the state under-19 team for their Cooch Behar Trophy Group-A league match to be played against Punjab at Patiala from Dcember 8 to 11, 2017. Vice-captain Kshama Sagar Bal, Partha Sarathi Nayak, Ayashkant Sahu, Ankitkar Jaiswal and Satyakam Bharadwaj were dropped from the team that lost their last match their last match against Chhattisgarh at Bhilai.

The five were replaced by Jyoti Ranjan Behera, Binit Mohanty, Biswajit Mallick, Preetam Jena and Sekhat Majhi. In another major change, Raghunath Malla was made the new captain in place of Swastik Samal, who, however, retained his place in the 15-member team. Aakash Nayak was named the new vice-captain.
